Harp’s New Book: Why Released in Millville, New Jersey?
Anderson Harp’s Will Parker novel “Northern Thunder” comes out this December, but advanced copies will be available on Black Friday at the independent book store, Bogart’s, on High Street in Millville, New Jersey. The purchase of his two other Will Parker books “Retribution” and “Born of War” gets a free signed copy of “Northern Thunder”! “Northern Thunder” began the Parker series and gives insight into how he got pulled into a mission that took him deep into North Korea. A previous book came out several years ago, but this one has new plot lines, characters, and sharp editing by Ed Stackler, editor for several NY Times best selling authors. Plus, it is North Korea.
But why Millville?
Millville and Vineland are two south Jersey towns only a few miles apart that lay claim to one of the oldest high school football rivalries in the nation! The two have gone head to head for over a hundred years! Anderson Harp should know. While at Vineland, he was one of the top mile runners in the state of New Jersey. In fact, he has records that still stand today at both Vineland High School and American University which he attended on a track scholarship. And he is being inducted into the Vineland High School Hall of Fame on this same trip.
“I am looking to attend the football game as well. It has always been like an Auburn v. Alabama. It is rarely dull!” said Harp.
Anderson Harp was the first thriller author to be invited to visit the troops in a USO tour that took him to the Persian Gulf and even included a visit to Mosel in Northern Iraq when it was under US control. He returned to the Gulf in a second tour in 2012.
